Kid Congo Powers and the Pink Monkey Birds were last seen in Paris in September 2024, opening for Mudhoney. While the set was excellent, it felt frustratingly short. Thankfully, the former Cramps, Gun Club and Bad Seeds guitarist has announced his return to the City of Lights. The band will play La Maroquinerie on March 11, the same venue that hosted their last Paris headlining show in 2023.
Support will come from Liz Lamere, the New York City based artist best known for her long standing collaborations with her husband Alan Vega.
The group’s most recent album is That Delicious Vice, released in 2024.
Kid Congo's memoir Some New Kind Of Kick was released in 2022.
