Psychic Graveyard @ Cabaret Sauvage, Paris - May 15th, 2025

Psychic Graveyard opened the first night of Osees' European tour with a set that felt like being dragged backwards through a malfunctioning therapy session... in the best possible way, of course. Fronted by Eric Paul, twitchy and incantatory, the band churned out a convulsive blend of industrial noise and post-punk unease. Nathan Joyner and Paul Vieira’s synths replaced guitars with fried circuits and feedback loops, while Charles Ovett hammered out a relentless, martial beat that sounded like factory equipment keeping time. It wasn’t cold, though — far from it. Cathartic and slightly confrontational, the performance pulsed with a cracked kind of humanity, like the band was exorcising something real and ugly right there on stage.
