Opening for The Lumineers, young singer-songwriter Michael Marcagi delivered a brief but confident set that hinted at bigger stages to come. He drew from his recent EP American Romance and of course “Scared to Start,” the breakout single that improbably took off on TikTok. Stripped-down but assured, the performance had just enough grit and charm to cut through the arena din—a strong showing from an artist still finding his shape, but clearly headed in the right direction.
