Still proudly out of step with trends and time, The Fleshtones remain one of the purest, most enduring embodiments of American garage rock. They’re a living link to a lineage that includes The Ramones and The Cramps: bands with attitude, urgency, and their own instantly recognizable sound.
Their latest album, It’s Getting Late (...and More Songs About Werewolves), released in 2024 via Yep Roc, is as deranged and delightful as anything in their catalog: a snarling, surf-tinged, monster-movie blast of Fleshtones energy.
