Swim School are starting to make waves on the British alternative rock circuit, having previously opened for acts such as Inhaler and The Charlatans. This support slot for Suede at the Olympia was their biggest opportunity yet, and they rose to the occasion. In front of a packed house, the band delivered their songs with confidence, and perhaps a hint of disbelief, as the audience responded enthusiastically to their infectious blend of grunge textures and Britpop melodies. After nearly eight years of grinding it out on stages, Swim School look ready for the next step. We will be listening.
