Are The Rolling Stones Gearing Up for a New Album… and Another Stadium Tour?

There’s no official word yet, but the online rumor mill is buzzing: a new Rolling Stones album may be dropping before the end of the year. Hackney Diamonds was an undeniable success critically, commercially, and creatively... so the idea of a quick follow-up raises questions: leftover tracks? New sessions? Something’s cooking. Reports indicate that the band is back in the studio, working on its 25th studio album with 13 new songs in progress under producer Andrew Watt at London’s Metropolis Studios.

Even more intriguing, signs are pointing to a European stadium tour in summer 2026, including a date at Stade de France in late June. That would put them on the same field (and possibly the same week) as the rumored Oasis reunion show at the same venue... Better start saving now.

A 2025 European tour was reportedly in the works but quietly shelved. Now the fans demand... satisfaction. Since then, the band has been spotted at studios on both sides of the Atlantic. If the whispers are true, we’re on the verge of yet another chapter in a career that refuses to fade out.

The Stones last performed in Paris in July 2022, and at the time, many assumed it might be their final bow. But let’s be honest: there’s no precedent for what they’re doing. Rocking into their 80s, they’re inventing the blueprint in real time... just as they have for the past sixty years.
