Singer, banjo player, fiddler and composer Rhiannon Giddens has announced her return to a Paris stage.Giddens first came to prominence as a founding member of Carolina Chocolate Drops, the Grammy-winning group that helped bring wider attention to the Black roots of old-time music, folk and bluegrass traditions. After launching her solo career, she expanded that mission through albums such as Tomorrow Is My Turn, Freedom Highway and They’re Calling Me Home, while also taking on projects in opera, film composition and historical musical preservation.
Her most recent solo album, You’re the One, was released in 2023 and marked her first record made entirely of original songs.
Rhiannon Giddens will perform at L'Alhambra on September 26th, 2026.
