New York instrumental funk powerhouse The Budos Band will bring their heavy blend of soul and psychedelic rock to Paris at La Machine du Moulin Rouge on Tuesday, April 21, 2026. Formed in Staten Island and associated with the Brooklyn based Daptone Records, the group built a strong following with their hypnotic brass driven grooves and dark, cinematic sound. Drawing inspiration from Ethiopian music, vintage funk and 70s hard rock, the collective has spent two decades carving out a distinctive instrumental style that sits somewhere between deep funk and heavy groove music.
Their latest album VII marks their first full length release on Diamond West Records, the independent label founded by members of the band.
