Wargasm @ Le Zénith, Paris - January 18th, 2026

It was bound to happen. Nu metal has spawned again. A new generation grabbed the ball from Limp Bizkit and company and sprinted off in its own unhinged direction. Wargasm fold electro into the mix, dubstep, techno, digital grime, with metal and hip hop never far behind. Bratty, aggressive, gloriously unapologetic, Sam Matlock and Milkie Way feel like a rock mutation of Ninja and Yo-Landi from Die Antwoord.

Sure, it is rehearsed, choreographed, deliberately over the top. At times it flirts with panto metal. But the fury is real, and it's infectious. The songs are stacked with nasty, obnoxious hooks, fired out with a sneer, a wink, and a very deliberate middle finger. Now the only question is where to stick it.
