In the early eighties, while most bands out of California were either playing glam metal or riding the (new) wave of post punk, Steve Wynn and his Dream Syndicate were forging a sound that was harkening back to early folk rock, psychedelia and The Velvet Underground.
The band is embarking on a European tour in which they'll play their entire sophomore LP Medicine Show in full for its 40th anniversary (actually 42nd, but who's counting?) and will make a stop at Le Hasard Ludique in Paris on February 4th.
