Patrick Rondat to shred at La Maroquinerie in the spring

French guitar virtuoso Patrick Rondat will return to the Paris stage on April 18 for a performance at La Maroquinerie. Emerging in the late 1980s, Rondat quickly became one of Europe’s most respected instrumental rock and metal guitarists, combining neoclassical technique with progressive structures and atmospheric compositions. His work has earned international recognition within the guitar community, and he has also performed with major French music figures including Jean-Michel Jarre, appearing in large scale concerts around the world.

Rondat’s latest studio album, Escape from Shadows, marked his return to recording after several years away from the studio. The record continues his signature blend of melodic instrumental rock, technical precision and cinematic arrangements, while also introducing a broader palette of textures and moods. It reaffirmed his reputation as one of the leading figures of European instrumental guitar music.
