Canadian Bluegrass outfit The Dead South has been releasing some of the best modern country music of the 21st century: reverent to the tradition, but infused with the spirit of contemporary alternative rock. Their latest album Chains & Stakes (2024) is arguably their most accomplished record yet. They will be starting their 2026 European tour in Paris at the venerable Olympia.on March 10th.
