Jennifer Finch Diagnosed with Brain Cancer—Here's How You Can Help

Well, here's a shitty piece of news... Jennifer Finch—the musician, artist, writer, photographer, and longtime creative force best known for her work with L7 and beyond—has been diagnosed with an aggressive form of brain cancer. What initially looked like a treatable situation took a devastating turn after unforeseen complications led to multiple surgeries and severe physical limitations. Jennifer's diagnosis also means she will be unable to take part in the U.S. leg of L7's previously announced Last Hurrah Tour this fall. The farewell run was originally planned with all four members, but at Jennifer's request the band will carry on as scheduled, with former Limp Bizkit touring bassist Tsuzumi Okai filling in for the U.S. dates. A GoFundMe campaign has been launched to help cover the cost of in-home nursing care, therapies, medical equipment, mounting medical and legal expenses, while also preserving Jennifer's artistic legacy and helping complete a major creative project she had hoped to release next year. If Jennifer's music and art have meant something to you over the years, please consider making a donation. If you can't, sharing the campaign is another way to help rally the community around one of punk rock's true originals.
