Paul McCartney has officially confirmed his new studio album The Boys of Dungeon Lane, set for release on May 29, 2026, marking his first full solo record in over five years. Produced by Andrew Watt, the album leans heavily into autobiographical territory, drawing from McCartney’s childhood in Liverpool and early memories tied to the streets that shaped him. It is presented as a 14-track project rooted in nostalgia, with a deliberate focus on melody and personal storytelling.
The announcement also reopens the question of a return to France. McCartney last played the Paris area in 2024 with two large-scale shows at Paris La Défense Arena, both quickly sold out. No Paris date has been announced for 2026 at this stage, but the timing of the album release strongly suggests a broader tour cycle. Given his consistent touring patterns and sustained demand in the French market, a new stop in Paris remains a credible expectation, even if it has yet to be formally scheduled.
