This Friday’s playlist brings together the gigs we saw in 2025. To paraphrase Stefon, the playlist has everything: blues, country, funk, jazz, metal, pop, rock, and a fair amount in between. Every track here was heard live on stage over the past year.
Whenever possible, the selection pulls from the artist’s current album, except in the case of legacy shows where that logic no longer applies. We haven't included tracks by tribute bands obviously, and a handful of artists are absent simply because their music lives in the moment, free-form or improvised.
