After over a decade split between The Sensational Space Shifters and collaborations with Alison Krauss, Robert Plant has formed a new ensemble named Saving Grace, fronted by vocalist Suzi Dian alongside Oli Jefferson, Tony Kelsey, Matt Worley, and Barney Morse‑Brown. The band channels Plant's longtime love for both English folk and American roots music into their debut album, aptly titled Saving Grace, scheduled for release on September 26, 2025 via Nonesuch Records.
The record grew from Plant’s creative retreat in the Cotswolds during the pandemic (his own “Shire”) where he and the band spent six years shaping a “song‑book of the lost and found” with earthy reinterpretations of century‑old folk, blues, and spirituals. Early single “Everybody’s Song” (originally by Low) offers a haunting preview of the album’s atmospheric depth.
Plant and Saving Grace have been performing across Europe this summer and will kick off a North American tour on October 30 in Wheeling, WV.
