This Friday’s Playlist is a sweeping tribute to the late, great Ozzy Osbourne. From genre-defining Black Sabbath anthems to solo classics from the Blizzard of Ozz era, MTV-era hits, and even some of his iconic guest appearances on other artists’ tracks, this 80-song, seven-hour playlist offers a massive overview of his career. It's loosely chronological and leans on the big moments—so while deep cuts are scarce, both casual listeners and die-hard fans will find plenty to enjoy.
We had a different playlist lined up for this week, but Ozzy’s passing was a true “stop the presses” moment. We quickly reshuffled our schedule to honor his legacy. As a result, next week’s playlist will be our last post until September.
