The mighty Saxon, one of the leading bands of the New Wave of British Heavy Metal, will play three shows in France this September, including a stop at Le Zénith in Paris. It's a venue they famously headlined three times over forty years ago and returned to last year as special guests of Judas Priest.
Joining them on this run are reunited French heavy metal veterans Sortilège. The trek, fittingly titled The Castles and Eagles Tour, promises to be a celebration of metal heritage. Additional support will come from local hard rockers Overdrivers.
Saxon will perform their iconic Wheels of Steel album in its entirety to mark its 45th anniversary, along with tracks from their latest release Hell, Fire & Damnation, and of course, fan favorites like "Strong Arm of the Law" and "Denim and Leather."
