It’s been eight long years since post-punk legends The Psychedelic Furs last graced a Parisian stage, delivering a criminally under-attended but unforgettable set at the Élysée-Montmartre. Now, the Furs are back, set to play the Bataclan on November 2nd, nearly two years since the passing of longtime saxophonist Mars Williams, whose melodic fire helped define their sound.
The band’s recent work shows no signs of nostalgia fatigue — Made of Rain (2020) marked a dark, textured return to form, followed by the elegiac single Evergreen in 2021.
