Eric Clapton announces 2 Jeff Beck tribute concerts at the Royal Albert Hall

It's been two months since our favorite guitarist passed away unexpectedly, and his longtime friend and colleague Eric Clapton has announced two special concerts at the London Royal Albert Hall in tribute to the great man. While the complete line-up has yet to be revealed, we know that Susan Tedeschi and Derek Trucks, Rod Stewart, Johnny Depp, Billy Gibbons, Gary Clark, Jr. and more are expected to perform.

The event will take place on May 22nd and 23rd. Unfortunately, we most likely won't be attending but one can hope that a DVD/Blu-Ray will be released not too long after...

No doubt this will be an emotional celebration and will lead to powerful musical moments with killer jam sessions and fantastic guitar playing. The man's influence on rock music is huge, and he's played with about everyone so we can expect quite a lot of star power on the stage.

More importantly, this will be a well-deserved recognition of El Becko's talents and innovations, and will hopefully help shine a light on his music.

Tickets will be available on March 15th at the link below:
