This Friday’s Playlist dives headfirst into the world of institutionalization and insanity. We could easily have filled it with nothing but Alice Cooper (who even devoted an entire concert album to life inside a mental institution) or Ozzy Osbourne, but rules are rules: only one song per artist.
There’s plenty of metal here (naturally), but you’ll also find soul, folk, pop, punk, and classic rock in the mix. So whatever your musical tastes, if you’ve got a penchant for the unhinged, there’s something waiting behind the padded door for you.
The sequencing is crafted to flow seamlessly... and to make you bang your head against the walls. Hopefully, they’re cushioned.
