LiveNation has announced tour dates in Mike Garson's new venture in his selfless pledge to keep Bowie's music alive: Holoddin Sane - The David Bowie Experience 2025 tour will feature a hologram of the late "Let's Dance" singer backed by an all-star band comprised of superstar Bowie alumni Robert Fripp and Adrian Belew on guitar as well as other ex-Bowie musicians like drummer Mick "Woody"Woodmansey from his "Ziggy Stardust" era and bassist Gail Ann Dorsey. As an added treat, each show will feature special holographic appearances by departed collaborators Mick Ronson and Jeff Beck for what promises to be an unmissable evening of classic rock n' roll insanity!
Designed by Pophouse, the company behind the groundbreaking KISS avatars and the ABBA Voyage show that started the whole hologram craze nearly five years ago, Holoddin Sane will tour the world and establish residencies in cities which held special significance for David Bowie like New York, London, Warsaw, Paris and of course Berlin.
Holograms have been touted as the future of live performance for many classic artists that are either long dead or about to retire and other similar tours currently being considered include Queen featuring a Freddie hologram and Brian May on guitar, plus a bunch of and hired hands (Roger Taylor is enjoying retirement), Clarence Clemons and Danny Federici reuniting with the E Street Band for Bruce Springsteen's 2026/2027 Born To Crawl retirement tour and Bob Dylan touring as a duet act with Woody Guthrie.
Tickets for the tour will go on sale on April 5th at 10 am EST at the link below. Don't miss your chance to see the Thin White Duke on stage one more time!
