Robert Jon & the Wreck @ Trabendo, Paris - November 16th. 2024

Robert Jon & the Wreck roared back into Paris last night to deliver yet another generous, unifying show in support of their latest record "Red Moon Rising". Packed shoulder-to-shoulder, the crowd embodied the band’s magnetic appeal, a testament to their unifying power and tireless dedication to the classic Southern-style bluesy rock n' roll sound that we all love so much.

The band delivered a set brimming with heart and grit with Robert Jon Burrison’s commanding voice, rich with emotion and authenticity taking center stage while Guitarist Henry James wove in dizzying, 70s-style psychedelic flourishes that lifted the music to soaring heights.

Finished the set by playing "Cold Night" which is their own take on the "Free Bird"-style Southern Rock epic, complete with rave-up crescendos, tales endings and mind-blowing solos. Whether delivering tender soul ballads, rip-roaring boogie, or twangy country-tinged rockers, they played with a mastery that few bands today can match. Fans cheered, swayed, and stomped along, riding the tide of their dynamic setlist.

The climax came with “Cold Night,” their homage to the grand Southern rock epic. Packed with sprawling solos, exhilarating crescendos, and unexpected twists, it was a breathtaking closer that left the audience electrified and pleading for more.

Robert Jon & the Wreck proved once again why they’re one of the hardest-working bands around, offering an unforgettable evening of timeless rock music.
