Sparks and French audiences go back a long way, and this weekend everyone gets a chance to see the latest chapter. Ron and Russell Mael's Rock en Seine 2026 set will be streamed on france.tv on Sunday, August 30th, offering another opportunity to catch a band that, more than five decades into its career, remains remarkably difficult to pin down. Their festival appearance caps a busy summer that has also seen the release of Live On The Moon, Sparks' first full concert album, following last year's MAD!. Expect new material, a generous trip through the Maels' increasingly enormous catalogue and, presumably, considerably more gravity than on that live album.
