Sparks' first full concert album, Live On The Moon, is out today via Transgressive Records. The 20-track set spans more than five decades of Ron and Russell Mael's wonderfully eccentric career, mixing staples such as "This Town Ain't Big Enough for Both of Us", "The Number One Song in Heaven" and "When Do I Get to Sing 'My Way'" with deeper cuts and material from last year's MAD!. And because this is Sparks, naturally they claim it was recorded during a sold-out performance at the Taruntius Crater on the Moon, with Cate Blanchett along for the ride as lunar emcee, providing the album's introduction and outro. Wherever it was actually recorded, it's the first time the band have released a complete concert album in their 50-plus-year career, and you can stream it now in the embedded player below.
