Opening for SKYND at La Machine du Moulin Rouge was a DJ set by a duo operating under the name Parfum Noir. Little information seems to exist about them online, which suggests either a project assembled specifically for the occasion or a moniker devised at short notice. (It does appear asthough one of them is DJ Mousky, but don't quote us on that...)
Their set, built around a heady mix of darkwave classics layered over club-ready electronic beats, proved immediately effective. The crowd responded in kind, and the overall aesthetic aligned seamlessly with that of the headliner, setting the tone without feeling like a mere prelude.
