Patristic is your run-of-the-mill black metal metal band, dressed in druidic robes, giving ritualistic performances... tremolo riffs and blast beats, the whole shebang. They do what they do extremely well, but at no point do they display a personality or originality. And since the music isn't particularly brutal or powerful, the audience just stood there. They were fine for thirty minutes of background noise but not much else.
NB: The lights were absolutely awful for photography. It made for a great audience experience, but consequently the pics below are even shittier than usual...
