After a nearly decade-long hiatus, Southern metal titans Kylesa reformed last year around founding members Phillip Cope and Laura Pleasants on guitars and vocals, joined by John John Jesse on bass and Roy Mayorga on drums.
A new album feels long overdue. At this point, many fans would happily settle for a single, especially since the band’s last full length release was Exhausting Fire in 2015. For now, however, Kylesa appear focused on live work rather than the studio. Paris will get a taste of that renewed live energy when the band play La Maroquinerie on June 12, 2026.
