Katatonia is returning to Paris in support of their new album Nightmares as Extensions of the Waking State which was released last June to widespread critical acclaim.
The departure of founding guitarist Anders Nyström came as a shock to long-time fans of the Swedish metal band, but change has always been at the very heart of the band and Jonas Renske continues to stir the ship like he has in the past, from their death and doom metal years to their recent quasi-progressive sound.
They will be at Trabendo on December 10th, with Evergreen and Klogr as openers, courtesy of the good people at Garmonbozia.
