If you're from the same generation as me and grew up with VHS, mall cinemas and fear of a Russian invasion, this Friday's Playlist will tug right at your nostalgia strings. Here are a few songs from 80's blockbuster films... Songs that were, for most of them, also hits. Think end-credit anthems, prom-scene ballads dripping with synths, and training montage pop metal. So, hopefully you don't mind a little cheese. Or a lot of cheese. Because this is really fucking cheesy. But it's the kind of cheese that rules.
