On paper, the pairing of Iron Maiden’s Adrian Smith and guitar virtuoso Richie Kotzen might seem unlikely. But the result is a powerful musical partnership that works remarkably well. Their collaboration has produced two excellent albums, including this year’s Black Light/White Noise — a record that balances heaviness with melody and showcases both artists’ signature guitar styles without ever descending into excess.
Rather than a self-indulgent shred session, the album delivers tightly constructed, soulful rock songs — full of grit, groove, and searing solos.
The duo heads out on a European tour this winter, with a stop at Le Trianon in Paris on February 6, 2026. Expect an evening of high-level musicianship, meaty riffs, and no-nonsense rock energy.
