Wishbone Ash's Andy Powell has announced the cancellation of the band's current tour due to "sorely compromised" vocal cords. In a situation reminiscent of Aerosmith's recent retirement, Powell's condition is less severe than Steven Tyler's, but he has been advised to rest his voice completely — no singing, and no talking (can we send my wife to see that doctor?). Unless further complications arise, the tour is set to resume in Nuremberg on February 7th. See Powell's announcement in the embedded Facebook post below.
