Mothica's music is an interesting fusion, combining the best of contemporary pop with the dark undertones of Gothic metal. Think Olivia Rodrigo and Billie Eillish meet Evanescence and Lacuna Coil. The early start to their performance left us with a mere taste of what they have to offer, leaving us curious about a full-length experience.
Despite the abrupt introduction, Mothica's stage presence was captivating, drawing us into a world where melody and shadows coexisted. Looking ahead, we hope to catch them in a headlining show, or at least in a time slot that aligns more closely with the ticketed schedule (ahem…)
Until then, we'll be keeping an eye out for another opportunity to explore Mothica's musical journey from start to finish.
