Geezer Butler, legendary bassist and lyricist of arguably the first true Heavy Metal band Black Sabbath, will be releasing his autobiography Into The Void: From Birth To Black Sabbath And Beyond on June 8th. You can pre-order the book on Apple Books at the links below.
It's safe to say that we can expect some of the usual rock n' roll shenanigans but also some insights on growing up in post-war, industrial Birmingham as well as his other musical projects like G/Z/R. His bandmate Tony Iommi had already released his own autobiography Iron Man: My Journey Through Heaven And Hell With Black Sabbath back in 2012, which we can't recommend enough, even if you're not a fan of the band. So to have the Geezer's perspective and point of view will be a welcome addition to Sabbath lore.
