Monster Truck sound pretty much like their name suggests: heavy, greasy, bluesy hard rock with both feet planted firmly in the seventies. They have spent the past few years touring hard, picking up some enviable support slots along the way while building their own audience.
On record, that formula can come across as a little generic. Live, it works much better. There is nothing subtle about them, but the songs have more character than expected and the band play this kind of vintage hard rock with exactly the weight and swagger it requires. And by that, we mean that they're fucking heavy!
